Spreadsheet tools for Excel

Plain spreadsheets for keeping your own money records.

PennySteady makes two small tools: a checkbook register that keeps its totals honest, and a debt payoff planner built on what you can actually pay each month. No bank login, no ads, no subscription.

Free Lite editions now — paid versions not on sale yet; join the launch list.

How these tools work

  1. 1

    One spreadsheet file

You get one .xlsx file. Open it in desktop Excel.

  2. 2

    Your data stays with you

What you type stays in your own copy of the file. The sheets don’t connect to any bank or lender, and we can’t see your numbers.

  3. 3

    Records and estimates only

The sheets keep records and do the math on the numbers you enter. They don’t give advice.
